I've got a skin condition, can I still have treatment?

While many treatments may still be possible with modifications, some might be contraindicated. I'm under 16, can I still have treatment?

At ArchAndBeauty, we require clients for most of our treatments to be 16 years of age or older. For clients aged 13-15, certain treatments may be available with the explicit written consent of a parent or legal guardian, who must also be present during the consultation and treatment. Do I need to have a patch test?

Yes, for certain treatments involving tints, glues, or solutions (such as lash lifts, lash tints, brow laminations, or brow tints), a patch test is mandatory. This must be carried out at least 48 hours prior to your appointment to ensure you do not have any adverse reactions. No exceptions can be made for your safety. You can pop into our Southampton clinic anytime during opening hours for a quick patch test.

Will the treatment hurt or be uncomfortable?

We strive to make your experience as comfortable and relaxing as possible. Most of our lash, brow, and facial treatments are pain-free and often described as quite soothing. For treatments like Microneedling, there might be some mild discomfort, but we take every measure to minimise it, including using topical anaesthetics if appropriate. Your technician will explain everything beforehand and check in with you throughout the session.
